Sneek Peak

Sorry for the shotty picture, it was taken with my phone. I was just too excited and had to show you!

I've got a lot going on this week, so I'll update you with the whole she-bang next week!

I'm so sorry my blog friends, for I have been MIA for far too long! It has been a little over a month since my last post, and I don't even have an excuse for it! It could have been all the rain (which puts my painting projects on hold), the horrible cold that wouldn't go away, or my lack of motivation to post anything. Whichever is truest, I'm sorry for the delay!

It's not that I havent been working on anything, I just seem to be in the middle of more than one thing right now, none of which I can finish! Here are some of the projects I hope to finish sometime soon!
I have finally decided to take the plunge and paint this sucker! I am using Rustoleum Painters Touch in Heirloom White. This is a much bigger project than I had anticipated! I began the work of sanding it last weekend, and painted a good part of it (first coat only), but then it began to rain, rain, rain, rain, rain! That puts a bit of a damper on spray painting outside. This project is on my porch until sunnier days.

The chair. It is (sadly) still in the same shape as it was when we saw it last. I have plans (I even bought some supplies for recovering it!) but we'll see when this gets finished...

And my most exciting, favorite project (idea) to date:

I want to create this, (which I first saw at MissMustardSeed's blog and it is made by Karli at Rocky Bella)

So this past weekend I bought this, with the idea of using the bottom piece to make something like Karli did. Now, it sits in 2 pieces, waiting for me to find the motivation to work on it!

I promise I'll have updates for you soon! I think we're supposed to have at least one sunny day this weekend!
Happy crafting!
